| The administrative staff is comprised of the Public Works Director, Assistant Public Works Director, City Project Manager and an Administrative Assistant. These individuals are here to help any individual or business with a Public Works need. Our staff of highly trained professionals comes from many different backgrounds to work side by side in cooperation to make the city of Mt. Juliet is a better place for its citizens and businesses. |

| Marlin Keel, P.E. Public Works Director 754-2554 Marlin has been the City of Mt. Juliet's civil engineer for many years but in now playing a new role in our city government, he accepted the Public Works Director's position in January. Marlin has thirty-five (35) years experience in Engineering related endeavors. This experience includes twenty-six (26) years in the private sector involved in Engineering Office Start-up and Management, Company Ownership, Project Management, Marketing, Infrastructure Design and Surveying. In addition, nine (9) years have been spent in the public sector serving as Director of Public Works for Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County for eight (8) years and one year as the special Projects Manager for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville And Davidson County. Marlin's education includes a Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering Degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science Physics degree from Vanderbilt University. Marlin received the Government Engineer of the Year in 1997 and currently is the Volunteer Bible Study Leader for Riverbend Maximum Security Prison. |
